Sustainable Ecology & Agricultural Entomology Lab of NFU devotes to solving the issue of the balance of farmland ecosystem and insect control in Taiwan. We conduct basic and applied researches and use important agricultural economic pests as research targets. We study insect molecular evolution and development, symbiosis and applied ecology to provide systematic new knowledge. We hope to establish a technical platform for studying agroecosystem and molecular pest control in Taiwan. With resource reuse and ecological conservation as the practical orientation, applied research topics include: ecological resource investigation, ecological engineering methods and efficacy evaluation of pest control method. We welcome international and domestic students interested in entomology, especially embryonic developmental biology and integrated pest management, to join us.
