Chaur-Tsuen Lo Professor Our lab. focus on the research of fungal and virus diseases of solanaceae, cucurbitaceae and cruciferae crops, especially in the areas of biological control and disease resistance by Trichoderma and Bacillus. Structures of the six anthraquinones isolated from T. harzianum SL-NBR1-6: (I) pachybasin, (II) crysophanol, (III) emodin, IV) ω-hydroxypachybasin, (V) 1,5-dihydroxy-3-hydroxymethyl 9,10-anthraquinone, and (VI) 1,7-dihydroxy-3-hydroxymethyl-9,10-anthraquinone.
