Announcement of Application for Pre-Master Research Student Selection, Department of Biotechnology
1. Application period: From now until April 25, 2025 (Friday) 5:00 PM【Extended application deadline to May 16】.

※The application deadline is handled in accordance with the “Regulations for the Selection of Pre-Master Research Students of the Department of Biotechnology.” Late applications will not be accepted.

2. Eligibility: Third-year students of the four-year undergraduate program.

3. Required documents (please prepare the review materials and submit them within the deadline【Extended application deadline to May 16】 to the Department Office of Biotechnology on the 2nd floor of the Red Building):

1. Application form for pre-master courses of National Formosa University (please download from the department website)

2. Study and course plan (please download from the department website)

3. Academic transcript

4. Class or departmental ranking certificate

5. Other supporting documents beneficial for review

※Notes※
1. After obtaining the qualification as a pre-master student, you must obtain a bachelor’s degree by (including) the 8th semester and participate in the university’s master’s program recommendation or admission process. Only after being admitted can you officially obtain the status of a master’s student.

2. After obtaining pre-master status, for master’s-level courses taken during undergraduate study, if the grade is 70 or above, you may apply for credit transfer upon admission to the master’s program. With the approval of the department chair, these credits can be counted toward required master’s credits (excluding thesis credits, and the total transferable credits are not subject to the university’s general upper limit on graduate credit transfer; however, the maximum transferable credits per semester during undergraduate study is 12 credits).
